2023 EQE Overview

The 2023 EQE is an electric take on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Though its release date has yet to be officialized, there’s speculation that we may see this electric sedan around Toronto in the fourth quarter of 2022. 2023 EQE Performance Highlights 

So far, we know that the 2023 EQE offers Oshawa drivers a 90 kWh battery capacity. Its powertrain is set to achieve 288 hp and 417 lb-ft of torque. What’s more, charge times are expected to be exceptionally fast. Expect 10-100% charging in just 30 minutes from a 170 kWh DC fast charger, and 10-100% charging from a 240V home charger in just 9.5 hours. Other performance highlights of the EQE include: 

• Rear-axle steering up to 10 degrees 
• AIRMATIC Air Suspension with Adaptive Damping System
• DYNAMIC SELECT including Comfort, Sport, Eco and Individual driving modes 
• Driver Assistance Package with latest intelligent drive function

2023 EQE Feature Highlights 

Though the 2023 EQE borrows many design elements for the E-Class, it’s expected to be a bit larger. The EQE will also introduce ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL Plus, a system that scrubs germs and debris out of the air before you enter your vehicle. Expect an updated version of MBUX as well. Feature highlights of the 2023 EQE will include: 

• Burmester® 3D Sound System with Sound Personalization
• Biometric authentication with optional Face recognition
• New-generation MBUX Multimedia System with Augmented Reality Navigation system
• Natural Language Understanding and Keyword Activation (“Hey Mercedes”) 
• Available MBUX Hyperscreen featuring three displays across one panel of 56-inch curved glass
• ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL Plus for maximal cabin air filtration
• Active Ambient Lighting
• 64-Color Ambient Lighting
• DIGITAL LIGHT
