What Are the Current Ontario Electric Vehicle Rebates?

The Incentives for Zero-Emission Vehicle Program is a provincial initiative that provides rebates for consumers who lease or buy certain Zero-Emission Vehicles (iZEV). Currently, there is an active EQB 350 rebate! All you have to do is purchase, finance, or lease an approved iZEV like the EQB 350. The dealership will apply the incentive to the bill of sale, financial contract, or lease agreement on the date of eligibility. Here are the two levels of Ontario electric vehicle rebates available:

• Battery-Electric/Hydrogen Fuel Cell/Longer Range Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles: These vehicles are eligible for a $5,000 rebate. Bear in mind that longer range plug-in hybrid electric vehicles must feature at least 50 km of electric range or more.
• Shorter Range Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles: Short range plug-in hybrid vehicles have less than 50 km of range and are eligible for a $2,500 rebate.
